Literally YEARS in the making. About 4 or so years ago I set a reminder to notify me when the kingy.eth ENS would be available for purchase. Having YOUR wallet name is not only the on chain flex, but true ownership of your given name. The nickname 'kingy' was given to me during football in grade school- my last name apartently was too long/awkward to call out, so it was shortened to the 5 letters that I have now built my "brand" on. A couple months back, I got the notif. I'd been awaiting. The now previous owner was beginning their 30 day grace period before the ENS became available for public purchase. After the 30 grace period...it became avail.‼️ Now its official. I am kingy.eth 🏆

There is a fine line between memes for fun and memes for profit. Know when to tighten up and represent professionally. Know when to have fun. We are at a cross roads in blockchain/crypto community thats hard to have both simultaneously right now. Too much value was extracted - whether knowingly or not...and its left most people with a sour taste.
