Some metals can remember their shape.
Certain alloys can be bent twisted or deformed
and then return to their original shape
simply by being heated.
At the atomic level
their structure rearranges itself back
as if nothing ever happened.
These materials are used in medicine
space technology
and robotics.
In science
even metal can have a memory.
