One of the most interesting classes I took this season was on DeFi.
It reshaped how I think about money, access, and control. DeFi is finance built on blockchains where you can save, lend, borrow, trade, and earn without banks or intermediaries. You connect a wallet and keep custody of your assets.
What stood out most is how open it is. There are no formal approvals or wealth thresholds. Financial tools that were historically limited to institutions are now accessible to anyone with an internet connection and the ability to use on-chain infrastructure.
