📘MISSION LOG: ENTRY 04📖
🛰Transmission from Deneb📍
🔴Supergiant of the Swan:
Deneb, also known as Alpha Cygni, is the brightest star in the constellation Cygnus, which represents a swan in flight. Its name comes from the Arabic word dhanab, meaning “tail”marking the swan’s tail in the sky.
⚪️Vertex of the Summer Triangle: Deneb forms one corner of the famous Summer Triangle asterism, along with Vega and Altair. It also marks the “head” of the Northern Cross, a prominent seasonal pattern in the northern hemisphere.
🔵Evolving Toward the Unknown:
Deneb has stopped fusing hydrogen in its core, entering a late evolutionary stage. Its future is uncertain it may become a supernova, a white dwarf, or something even more exotic depending on its final mass and internal dynamics.
