what goes into these episodes: 1. some weeks i listen to 1000+ songs to pick the 15 that goes into the hour i used to be a club DJ in my twenties and stopped playing in 2016. putting out a fresh hour every week is way different than playing clubs where you don't need to drastically change your record box week by week. i had no idea what i was signing up for when i committed to doing this weekly. 2. going into each week, i first pick 1-2 songs to build the set around this week it was this Etnik's remix of Cold by Blitzkids that i think came out in in 2014 (i play it at 14:00) there will also be another 3-6 songs that are somewhat of emotional 'leads' i then pick the rest of the songs to create the ebbs and flows that i'd need for for those leads to shine https://pinetree.so/video/0x82049be77eb299a219c1571ff0ea60836fc90546
