It's a device that works with Ableton. Ableton is a digital audio workstation (DAW). unlike other DAWs that only focus on producing music, ableton focuses on both producing and performing. so you can use it as a keyboard and drum machine simulator to jam and record those and produce song out of it. but you can also use it as a launchpad + keyboard + drum machin for live performance. the live performance part is a little bit different than DJing which is just playing records. this is a little bit closer to actually performing songs.
