A very underrated thing today is the ability for someone to be able to say what they think about something without filter For me personally, one of the first things I do when I meet somebody (when the opportunity arises), is to try to talk about something somewhat controversial (which goes against common opinion, i.e, don't talk about xyz). imo, its a easy way to meet people who are open to different things. I don't need (or want, tbh) you to align with me on every single topic, I just want to be able to discuss it with you. one of the reasons @kazi and I become extremely close friends is because we recognized we were both pretty good at discussing this. @twochanz.eth is also very good at this. disagreement isn't the end of the world, in fact, its the start of a new beginning
