Relationships play a crucial role in our lives, regardless of our personality type. Loneliness, often associated with depression and addiction, can make us feel isolated even in a crowded room. It can strain our closest bonds and lead to desperate measures.
However, love and genuine connections can be powerful antidotes to loneliness. Acts of kindness, support, and friendship can have a profound impact on someone's well-being.
Let's reflect on how we interact with others today. Did we bring a smile to someone's face or offer a helping hand? Small gestures can make a big difference in someone's life. #RelationshipsMatter #SpreadLoveAndKindness

Harriet Tubman believed in the power of dreams, reminding us that every great dream begins with a dreamer. Remember, you possess the strength, patience, and passion to reach for the stars and change the world.
The Lost Trailers, in their hit song "Underdog," emphasize the importance of taking risks and believing in oneself: "You gotta risk it all sometimes, I believe in the underdog, who chases dreams and breaks down walls."
Life often revolves around pursuing our dreams, breaking barriers, and serving as a beacon for others. Don't lose hope before witnessing the miracle.
Today, I urge everyone to embody the person they aspire to be, initiating the change they envision. Transforming the world commences with transforming yourself.

Biologist Robert Trivers highlighted the concept of self-deception and its social advantages in his work. Deception, whether towards oneself or others, can serve as a defense mechanism, as seen in addiction recovery programs like the 12-Step approach.
Sharing a personal journey, I once found myself caught in a cycle of self-deception that led to a dark place. I was at the jumping off place, contemplating the end. I so badly wanted to not exist anymore, to just not wake up. I prayed for my last breath to be taken during those dark times. It took a profound moment of realization, sparked by someone else sharing their story, to turn my life around.
In the words of the 12-Step Program, "Frothy emotional appeal seldom suffices. The message must have depth and weight." Today, I strive to live by principles that have transformed my life, aiming to inspire and support others on their journeys.

Humility is defined as the absence of pride or arrogance and is characterized by a sense of modesty & self-esteem.
The Taoist, Tao Ching, said that standing on top of the world & exposing yourself makes you vulnerable to destructive forces & remaining behind the scenes allows you to grow & bear fruit.
But how do you practice humility in your daily life? As a therapist, I enjoy assessments & group sessions. I have received positive feedback from my clients about my skills in these areas. Yes, I like to bring fun & my personality to these groups, but I'm mindful of when it is appropriate in a clinical setting.
I know that not everyone will be receptive to my approach. Although these aspects may be my strengths & clients praise my abilities to others, I also recognize that perfection is unattainable.
In Wicca it is said, "Let there be beauty & strength, power & compassion, honor & humility, mirth & reverence within you.”
How can you practice humility today?
