It's been a busy week in Buenos Aires during @EFDevcon saw the team actively driving DePIN awareness and engagement across multiple fronts. More than 300 DePIN enthusiasts gathered for @depinday, where 25 industry leaders took the stage, supported by over 40 media partners amplifying the event. A private dinner brought together 25 top founders and key ecosystem leaders, setting the tone for future collaborations in the DePIN space. Throughout the week, the team connected with builders at the booth, backed developers using Fluence compute at the @ETHGlobal hackathon, hosted workshops on deploying to Fluence Cloudless Compute, and handed out a wave of Fluence merch. Sometimes I feel like traditional clouds just love trapping people 😂, but indulge me for a moment before I weigh in👇 Most cloud platforms force you to trade freedom for convenience, lock-in, high migration costs, API issues, surprise bills, and centralized control that limits transparency. @fluence removes all of that. You get one consistent interface across independent data centers, the freedom to choose your hardware and region, and full control over your data, without being tied to any single provider. When cloud flare seems to fail, Fluence keep stepping up. I'm impressed on what they've built so far. I wish many companies would pay more attention to decentralized compute and that extends to Fluence.
