This is just my own assumption/analysis with 0% judgement, but I think the "I miss Farcaster" camp of people are the ones who miss Farcaster when it was financially beneficial to be here, but also don't like grinding on X because of the culture. 2024-2025 was pretty high lucrative period for Farcaster We had Degen tipping (and it's ATH) There was Social-Fi and experimentations such as Alfa Friends, Moxie (regardless of your opinion, it did generate wealth if you played your cards right), Ham tipping / Ham Caster There was Farcaster first TGE events through Clanker (BNKR, BETR, BRACKY etc), App & miniapp Tokens, Clanker eco There was Farcaster centric airdrops We had the weekly tip sharing, leaderboard rewards, Miniapp rewards So there was high level buzz, new shiny things, adrenaline and wealth on the time line. But it was also a very extractive period as well, which brought in mass coordinated farming, miniapp/frame spamming and lower quality casts. (I mean, I was part of it 😁) 🧵1
