This I believe is my final Monad allocation. I am neither disappointed nor ecstatic, but feel like allocation was fair considering what I brought to the table (which wasn't alot) - Wasn't part of Monad until Testnet Mon airdrop to Farcaster around April/May 2025. Late joiner. - Got a discord role, but was the entry role of Full Access. - Hung around the discord a bit and also did some translation works, joined streaming events, did some eco system tasks like the recognizer, filled out some surveys, did some TXs (Not a crazy amount) What I think majorly contributed to my allocation I have now was firstly being part of Farcaster and secondly my time in Discord. Both I feel were equally proportional in the contribution to the amount. My wallets, and other socials were all ineligible, and I know why. Saved by Farcaster and Discord. My major takeaway is that Web3 crypto, and in this case Monad, was that having a decent account/reputation meant you were going to be rewarded, and I think this might be a trend moving forwards. This past year I have been living and breathing Farcaster and I think that helped. Many Farcasters say it, but your account is your reputation and by maintaining and growing it, you'll see doors open for you whether you plan for it or not... meaning larger rewards come to you despite your contribution or involvement in anything. It will open doors. This was blaringly obvious from the TL looking at KOLs oblivious to Monad receiving Monad Cards easily surpassing the allocations of those entrenched in the community system. Another observation was seeing Farcaster only users, but Farcaster OG accounts also getting decent allocation rewards beyond that of again community only people. Knee jerk reaction would be "but these people didn't do anything"... yes, maybe not for Monad, but months or years of work on their social platform (Farcaster/X) was the fruit bearing mechanism in this case. Will comment though that core community users of Monad got rewarded generously. So I'm not saying community work ROI was horrible if you were in the upper contributor list, but smart plays and commitment was needed... and not everyone has the time for that. So, long story short... keep your X and Farcaster account reputation in good health, and you never know when you'll get an unexpected reward again. Measure up your ROI on time spent, because in the end of the day we all share the same valuable resource of "time". Also, congrats to those who got their Monad airdrop! Can't be unhappy about free money. Hopefully it was what you expected or more.
