There is a big Japan/US crossover buzz happening on X at the moment over the BBQ moment. Originally meant for Japanese audience only, due to X’s in-app one tap translation. Good look at how UI and AI is bringing together communities which previously before were individual silos. But also aware that Japan is no.2 in the world’s Twitter users by user count and no.1 in the world by market penetration. Perhaps when Farcaster user numbers grow and Japanese population grows, there may be more cohesion between the Japanese and English population.
