Repetition is where mastery is found. In order to escape the potential for mediocrity, one has to keep improving while repeating (it made sense in my head)

Since I have pro and can now cast using 10,000 characters or less I can post all of my recent essay here instead of on Medium. Please let me know your thoughts and enjoy! What Future Awaits the Youngest Generation? This question haunts me. It lingers at the edge of every thought: What lies ahead for those of us growing up in this volatile, accelerating world? We — those born near the turn of the millennium — have lived through an era of seismic change. We’ve witnessed a technological upheaval and social transformation unlike anything in recorded history. From the explosive rise of AI to the collapse of long-held political norms, we are navigating a world that feels like it’s being rewritten in real time. We’ve adapted to tools that evolve faster than we do — embracing artificial intelligence, automation, and digital connectivity even as they threaten to displace us from both white- and blue-collar roles. We’ve grown up watching billionaire technocrats consolidate power, while creeping authoritarianism undermines democracy across the globe. All the while, we’ve observed the generations before us cling to authority, prioritizing profit, tradition, and personal gain over progress. We are told to “work harder,” even as economic mobility erodes and the so-called American Dream fades into myth. The institutions meant to serve us instead ask us to serve them — and to be grateful for the privilege. It’s no wonder that frustration runs deep beneath the surface of our generation. We are angry. We are disillusioned. But we are not powerless. So — what direction do we take? The road forks. One path leads to resignation: a continuation of the status quo. This path is well-worn, comfortable in its familiarity. It asks little of us — only that we comply, consume, and carry on as if nothing is wrong. Many will take it because it’s easy. But that path leads to stagnation. It leads to deepening inequality, worsening climate catastrophe, and a future shaped by indifference. The other path is more treacherous, more uncertain — but also far more vital. It is the path of disruption, defiance, and reinvention. It demands that we question everything we’ve inherited: outdated systems, corrupt institutions, inherited wealth, ingrained injustice. It asks us to build something better — together. And I see more and more people choosing this second path. People who refuse to settle. People who recognize that our systems are not broken — they were designed this way. People who want change not just for themselves, but for everyone who’s been locked out of opportunity, equity, and dignity. The current order is fragile — held together by habit, fear, and a veneer of control. But the more we interrogate it, the more its cracks begin to show. We see the truth behind the curtain: a tangled mess of corruption, inefficiency, and callous disregard for humanity. In my view, the only moral option is to reject the familiar and embrace the unknown. To challenge the inertia of tradition. To strip power from those who wield it selfishly. To build a future rooted in compassion, justice, and collective power. This reflection is personal, but it’s also a rallying cry. To those willing to maintain the current trajectory — ask yourselves: at what cost? Are comfort and familiarity worth sacrificing the future? We don’t have time to be passive. We can’t wait for change to arrive. We are the change, and the future hinges on our willingness to act. Even in my most cynical moments, I still see a glimmer of possibility. Ours is a generation shaped by constant transformation. That gives us an edge. We know how to pivot, how to reimagine, how to evolve. We are uniquely positioned to redefine what comes next. So I ask again: What future will you help create? Because whether we rise to the challenge or retreat into complacency will decide the shape of the world for generations to come.

(Conversation that ensues after debbie regrets the decision) Can’t reattach it ma’am. It’s been chopped already. You’d have to make do with prosthetics. They cost an arm and a leg. Uhmm you don’t have a leg so I guess we can work with two arms.
