A Short Prayer of Trust and Control
Heavenly Father,
I thank You that Your sovereignty is absolute. When I feel overwhelmed by the rage and pressure of my circumstances—be it fear, sickness, or opposition—I look to You, the ultimate authority.
Just as you placed a hook in the nose of the great King Sennacherib, I pray that You will take firm control of the situation that is currently threatening me.
Stop its boasting, limit its power, and turn it back by the way it came. I release my need to control the outcome and rest in the truth that You are Lord over all things.
In Jesus christ's name, Amen.
