I mean, he played the game and had a big acq, he is effectively post-economic We need people saying this who aren’t looking down from a high horse to make it stick imo This whole cultural shift is a reflection of real suffering Different for me to hear this message come from someone who is even at least somewhat experiencing this suffering vs someone who won the game, you know Also too there is a place for some of these things as entertainment right, like despite my own Puritanism I see this Gambling, much like alcohol, is deeply Lindy so how do we allow for it while having it not be the be all end all

I feel like the more casino culture that comes in the more I see people posting hot takes of “do not fund public goods”. We’ve replaced supporting causes with a coin toss because the chance of someone caring is less than 50/50.
