Whenever I talk about Farcaster, skeptics ask: “What if it fails?” That’s valid. But I ask back: what if it succeeds? What if it creates a new standard where identities are portable, platforms compete fairly, and users have power? That vision excites me enough to participate. Failure is possible, but staying trapped in Web2 models feels like a guaranteed loss.
