I am wondering if Bluesky team has any regret in focusing their initial crowd in BOC activists. The team is now constantly under uproar and backlash. Apparently it greatly affect their productivity and roadmap.

I think a bigger problem is Ledger’s lack of communication. There is no technical documents nor detailed recovery procedures for public review. And I don’t understand why they choose real ID-based over social recovery. But I think improving recovery process is a welcomed feature if you want crypto to be mainstream.

I am fine with slightly thicker phone if the regulation could indeed reduce electronic waste. But there is no logical reason it is the case. They could have just mandate manufacturers to service batteries for free for 6 years which incentives easier repair and better battery tech, without crippling the design.
