I made it while I was waiting to go on CNN for the first time to talk about a dire new study showing catastrophic sea-level rise even if the world manages to keep global temperatures from rising beyond 1.5 degrees Celsius, or 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit. congrats on first CNN segment!! do you think our coastal cities will still be around in 15 years? venice italy is a great, obvious example of how this affects cities but dont think we discuss it enough for coastal places like miami or nyc or la

I think there’s going to have to be a lot of adaptation and infrastructural changes. Venice has a sea wall, so they’re at least one step closer to taking it on
