Iβm hypermobile. My joints dislocate in my sleep, I tape them back together just to function, and years of this have caused nerve damage, chronic pain, and now serious heart complications. My doctors suspect POTS and keep ordering more tests β ultrasounds on my legs, a tilt table test, cardiology visits, and more.
Iβve been working as much as I can as a server in the U.S., but my income depends on tips. Extra hours on my feet make my symptoms worse, and my insurance barely covers anything. Right now, I have over $2,200 in bills and more testing coming.
My goal is $3,000 to cover urgent bills, meds, and appointments, with a stretch of $4,000 to help with upcoming cardiology and imaging.
