BTC Genesis Block
Seventeen years ago, on January 3, 2009, Satoshi Nakamoto launched #Bitcoin, mining the genesis (first) block containing 50 BTC.
This marked the beginning of a story that unites us all here.
The hashtag for the first block contains the headline of an article in the British newspaper The Times, "Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks."
After this event, Bitcoin enthusiasts began mining even on the weakest computers, and its price began to soar.
We'll see what happens to Bitcoin in another decade and what heights it reaches.
