History teaches us that humanity has an amazing ability to adapt. I think we will learn to live with AI, although it will certainly take time, thought, and a lot of responsibility. Will our grandchildren tell stories of love for AI? Who knows... but I'm sure they'll tell stories about how AI changed the world and how we humans responded to those changes. And those stories will be as interesting as the legends of mermaids and fairies.
