I really wanna know how others self-reflect. Whenever I wanna do this, I journal, writing down thoughts and my emotions. How do you do yours?

Sometimes I talk to a close friend I trust and who genuinely wants to listen. I just let myself speak freely about whatever's on my mind and often, something slips out that surprises me. Other times, I record voice notes and just let my thoughts wander. It helps me hear things I didn’t even know I was thinking.

Journaling is nice. Every now & then I might fall into a pattern of journaling. At this point though it’s just a default mode for me. I’m pretty aligned with a stoic way of life & introspect more than I express or project. I do that damn near involuntarily at this point. So it’s sometimes awkward when the thing I would like to do in a given moment is outwardly share an emotional expression, but fall right back into a stoic self reflection that subsumes most of what may have otherwise made another “feel” something from me.
