playing with @noiceapp this am - interesting to think about the dynamics around if i should be spending time specifically on the noice feed vs "setting and forgetting" and engaging with my fc feed as normal traditional consumer app focus has been around "owning" the users/being a place where they live, but crypto-native composability continues to experiment with that assumption in real-time

for now, noice's differentiating UX is an activity-only feed circa the eras of twitter/ig where you could see what ppl liked in-feed

do you remember when you could stalk other people's activity in instagram? what they liked, who they followed, etc. wild days.

My 2cts (actually 1ct): I've set my spending limit to $5, and likes to $0.01. I still haven't emptied the $5, and it's been several weeks already. I chose "set and forget", and it's so cool to feel like you're giving money for your likes, but also doesnt feel like you need to refill every other day. It feels sustainable.

feels sooo hard to say until the noice feed is 10x more polished tbh even if spending time in the noice feed makes sense you still might hate it bc of UX lol

did yup ever roll out their single custom cross-platform feed? (i can’t remember) something that sounded great and convenient in theory but—

i think they did! but yeah very similar thinking there, but more aggregator level vs mini-app

the endgame is a different kind of "owning"

I’ll send you my token as a representation of my goodwill towards you, and I’ll demand my token in return as the cost of renting my social capital Anyone’s guess whether this leads us to a liberated network utopia or a dystopian hypermonetary hellscape
