eth 10 year ani! #2 Hi!! :D This piece was created by hand-carving a wood and printing it manually using a spoon, simulating traditional woodcut or printmaking techniques. I recently attended a printmaking workshop, but since I wasn’t able to access the press until the following week, I improvised by using a metal spoon for the printing process. Traditionally, a wooden spoon is recommended to avoid damaging the paper, but fortunately, I used a thick cotton paper that held up well to the manual pressure. After printing, I intervened the piece with mixed media techniques including acrylics and watercolor pencils.
