This week I built: I just claimed my Based Africa Buildathon prizes for the Legitify project—both the bounty and the QV funding—as well as some onchain creds! Beyond that, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a Base University meetup on January 18, 2025, at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The event will bring together students from various universities across Tanzania to learn about blockchain and web3 through the Base blockchain ecosystem. So far, I’ve helped 16 students create their own wallets and register for the event with their wallet addresses. Our goal is to have 80+ attendees, and we’ll be creating a basename for each participant on the day of the event.
