How do you people track how much you "should" eat and how much you actually eat? :)) You would think that "eat when you're hungry and don't fill up" is a good advice, except I'm almost never hungry. Sometimes I get hangry, that's a good sign, but most of the time I eat because it's time, not because I need to.

More specifically, I could easily push myself to eat a lot less frequently and maybe a lot less, I'm just unsure how healthy that is to have an empty stomach most of the time and have stomach acid chip at it non stop.

I eat in the morning just to get my mind going. Every other meal is decided on vibes

Sometimes I just want to take food tablets to not have to think about what I want to eat/the process involved of either cooking or getting food in front of me!

Do more sport and your natural hunger comes back. (if you're already doing a good amount of sports idk)

How much you should eat depends on the goal.

Helpful advice from a yoga teacher was: "Always eat a bit less than full". Then having a regular schedule helps, no need to wait until you are hungry

Find a few foods you eat regularly and commit their calories to memory. Remain as consistent as you can without being unreasonable. Deviate when you feel you have a better than tenuous grasp on the values of the food you usually eat. Substitute it with other food accordingly. 3x500kc meals and 2 snacks works for me.

Probably important to look at what you’re consuming. It’s not necessarily unnatural to consume one meal a day, before the sun goes down. If you get hangry you probably have a blood sugar problem, indicative of poor diet and over reliance on carbohydrates. Keto would be beneficial for a couple months.

I use an app to track intake, calories, nutrition, etc. I eat way too much if I don’t track. I also add meal replacement shakes or vitamins if I need certain boosts I’m not getting. Protein shakes are a nice boost of energy…

I figure out my daily maintenance calories needs, most of the time I am in minor deficit and just eat whatever. Pretty lean, I eat quite clean most days but no restriction just swapping to healthier alternatives like airfryer, light mayo, etc. Never really have hunger too, I eat on same time if not out.

I try to get in my daily need of protein and some more. Then comes veggies. I try to go minimal on my carbs, because I'm not that active. I load up a bit before I head to the gym. Having a set time for meals has helped a lot in beating hunger pangs and hangriness for me

You can approach it in a scientific way if you like. Research macro nutrition and set a goal for yourself. Its not for the faint of heart, but many people swear by it. You can do a regiment like 1-3 months measuring your food intake and let it go the rest of the year. 22 $DEGEN for motivation

There's a calculation you can do to work out how much calories your body uses at rest it's handy for working out how much you should be consuming

I dont't really track When you are at good ratio muscle/fat and your biomarkers are in optimal level... I think is better to focus on real food and high nutritional density :) 33 $DEGEN
