I cried just creating the digital concept of this artwork, a practice I have done for years to create my references for physical painting, I haven't yet started painting this one on canvas but I fully expect I will be a mess of tears in every brushstroke. This is the only artwork that visually depicts my most heartbreaking feeling, not having a home that is mine, it was actually years of developing my signature style before I felt confident enough that I could artistically create what the feeling of my hope and heartbreak looks like. and I did it.
