base dropped down the blockchain fees so much that transacting looks cheaper than building in web2 it forced vitalik and ethereum to drop layer 1 fees too I can support that cause of it helped a lot of people to be onchain I am not a fan of brian and not a fan of coinbase but hey it was obvius they are more like google than a bunch of underground hackers (if you got hurt by that, then the error of appreciation is on your side)
