one of the least glamorous parts of being a curator is writing reference letters. 😂
this week alone, i’ve written two artist reference letters for residencies/programs, and an endorsement letter for a nigerian artist’s visa application.
it’s time-consuming. and it matters.
just a reminder to any artists i’ve worked with: i’m always happy to support you with references or letters when i can. if i believe in your work, that support doesn’t stop at the exhibition. 💟
