Most people think the next frontier for blockchains is higher throughput or cheaper fees. That’s only half the story. The real breakthrough is when you can run apps onchain that are: ✅ Publicly verifiable ✅ Yet fully confidential With @zama , that’s now possible. Everything still settles on L1. But the data itself - balances, transfers, business logic - stays encrypted. Only the owner decides what to disclose. This is FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) in action. Not hiding traces like mixers. Not obfuscating like zk rollups. But keeping the content private while it still computes. What does this unlock? – Stablecoin transfers where payroll & merchant flows don’t leak – Trading on DEXs without exposing order sizes – Onchain compliance/KYC without giving up your identity – Treasury, payroll, even taxation onchain - minus the mempool surveillance As Zama’s CEO @randhindi put it: “Zama is like the HTTPS moment, but for blockchain transactions.” https://www.zama.ai/ #ZamaCreatorProgram

🚀 HPU on FPGA — A Major Leap for Homomorphic Encryption The hardware team at @zama has just unveiled something remarkable: HPU (Homomorphic Processing Unit) — an open-source hardware accelerator purpose-built for FHE — now running on FPGA. This isn’t just about speeding up a few operations — they’ve built an actual on-chip processor to compute directly on encrypted data. Alongside HPU, Zama also released TFHE-rs v1.2, featuring a new backend supporting the HPU — allowing developers to choose between CPU, GPU, or HPU for encrypted computations. #ZamaCreatorProgram #FHE ↓↓↓
