Looks like BaseApp is making wallet funding much easier. You can now add funds to your BaseApp wallet straight from external wallets like Phantom or MetaMask, without using a centralized exchange.
At the moment, this feature is only available on mobile, while the web version is likely on the way.
I gave it a try with MetaMask, but it’s still a bit buggy. The wallet connection doesn’t start, the balance remains at $0, and pressing “Open MetaMask” has no effect.
Still, it’s nice to see @baseapp rolling out useful updates. Looking forward to the fixes. 👏
