In my usual little gym every evening after work, today felt tougher than most, but I dragged myself here anyway.
Just finished my last heavy squat set—legs shaking a bit as I rack the bar. I grab my towel to wipe the sweat dripping down my neck, then step in front of the mirror for my habitual side-angle selfie. This black fitted workout set is comfy as always, even soaked through.
I glance at myself: ponytail high and messy, strands sticking to my forehead, glasses still perched on my nose like they always are. I give my reflection a small smile before snapping the shot.
In the background, there’s this guy resting on a bench. He’s been sneaking glances at me the whole hour, but the second my camera swings his way, he instantly looks down, suddenly very busy wiping his own sweat.
I chuckle quietly to myself—not annoyed, just amused
