Review: Create Dangerously, Albert Camus Read this short one a few days ago. does make me want to make more. I think you see this with many writers — it’s sort of like a ritual, or right of passage to write about why you’re writing. It shows up in many forms I think it’s actually informative and required in some ways to be thinking about the process of creating sometimes before and sometimes after. Also I haven’t read Camus since high school. I wonder what the stranger would feel like or the myth of Sisyphus perhaps it’s time to revisit. I wonder what the future holds.

ooh. have not read but will. have you read Stephen King’s “On Writing”? I’ve never actually read his novels, but I read this (his book on craft) and it was so good. not solely about why he writes, but a balance of that plus the craft of writing.
