Update: We made our own MCP server for Autodesk Fusion 360 for using it for @faust, and open sourced it here:
- Text-to-CAD: describe what you want to build and Claude Code drives Fusion 360 and it can create sketches, extrude bodies, cut holes, shell parts, plan for manufacturing
- 80 MCP calls covering sketching, extrusion, filleting, booleans, sheet metal, surfacing, assembly, CAM toolpath generation, covering a lot of the basic Autodesk Fusion API
- Can be called via Claude Code (tested on it), or any MCP speaking AI agent/service
- 166 tests, validation, mock routing etc
- it's still in beta, use it with caution
