I find it fascinating that you could be doing the right thing in many situations. Right could be morally for you or just morally for society or whatever. You could be setting the expectations of who you are delivering this positive thing to. Even if it is the right thing, you could easily not meet up to expectations and that would totally ruin the thing I think reversibly there is a thing, and the expectation is right, but you never need it, but it doesn't really actually work under the hood. I think what you end up with is like a local minima always trying to do something and actually doing it but being useless.
