Alright. This book was good, it's not really a book, more like a pamphlet, but ah this was good. Just read it in one sitting. Couldn’t stop reading it honestly. I'd like to read it again later.
What made this book so good is it really gives terms and weapons (see previous case) for the current malaise of general society without being shallow and over sweeping.
It’s also short and sort of concise, ~50 pages and still somehow captures the key concepts of how and why people are encountering burnout in society modern times. Excessive positivity, and our self medicating / the endgame of overly being productive
It also really reminded me about why I am turned off by health apps. An obsession in a burnout society, and in an overly medicated society about keeping yourself alive at all costs so you can keep being productive above all else. I thought a question that this book asked eloquently was — at what fucking cost? At what cost do you keep screwing yourself up be congruent with society - yeah.
