Veilid is interesting, a proper P2P stack always brings a different set of trade-offs, especially around routing, performance, and resistance to churn. The whole space is experimenting with how to balance decentralization with real-world usability. Have you tried Veilid’s chat long enough to get a sense of its reliability day-to-day?

That’s fair, arithmetic itself is cheap. The tricky part is when certain operations drag in extra overhead, like large contract code, new storage writes, or precompiles that were never really priced for modern hardware realities. The question is whether the bottleneck is purely computation, or the full choreography around it. What part do you think is most underpriced today?
