Because that's the only thing they "know" about themselves and roughly control at birth. It takes them about 6 months to even realize their feet are theirs! Weirdly it also takes about 1 year to realize their mother's is *another* person. And it takes them 18 months to realize that person in the mirror is them!

I believe there will be thousands of chains. I also believe most of these chains will want to be "unique" in some way(s). This creates an interesting challenge for the stacks (OP, Orbit, Zksync) where they need to be extremely modular.

Right now we're seeing both "blockchains, not bitcoin" (all the stablecoin activity) and "bitcoin, not blockchains" (all the dollar conversations). As we've known for a while, we need both of these things to be working *together*.

hard truths: 1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump 2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events 3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

Controversial: trump's impact on crypto will backfire. He may be "deregulating" but he's also tarnishing the "crypto" brand even more and, in the end, new regulation will be written/approved by people who *hate* crypto even more.
