I'm very excited about your current stance, as @twone, @arvinatwild, and I are cooking /planetarian, a Coinbase Wallet MiniApp game at the Base Batches Builderthon. This game leans towards traditional, highly playable GalGame combined with onchain elements, and it's entirely based on my /onchainomics theory. We are currently considering migrating to B3!

Just wondering, another co-founder, Sean, once mentioned in a post that he sees B3 more as an "investment portfolio" rather than a single platform — with growth happening across multiple verticals: distribution, infrastructure, strategic investments, acquisitions, and even cost-managed experiments (or degen bets).
Could you elaborate on why this “portfolio” analogy is used to describe B3’s ecosystem thinking? What’s the logic behind this multi-pronged growth model? And we’re also curious — what exactly does Sean mean by “cost-managed experiments along the way”?

great question
the gaming sector is still early so we look at it as a portfolio of bets - some may fail but others will be massive wins
it’s akin to an incubator model across products and gaming titles
the biggest wins will deliver outsized returns for the community and in some ways, betting on $b3 is like betting on an index of all these themes:
products from discovery tools to onramps to ai arenas to gamechains
games from across all genres mmo rpgs shooters casual and more

the vision of game chains is to be interoperable both from an economic and technical pov so as a user you can easily move across different chains without needing to switch networks or bridge funds
and, yes b3 plans to be a publisher and strategically acquire or partner with projects that add growth for the ecosystem but we would want these titles to be very large and profitable so that they bring new users into web3 gaming
