I did something a few months ago that I’m genuinely proud of.
You know how birthdays don’t come by surprise, but somehow they still meet us broke?
Especially we January-borns 😅
I wasn’t really thinking about mine. I’m not the type to pressure myself over momentary pleasures.
But sometime last year, something irresistible happened and I got hooked.
@karlagod launched @bitsave a decentralized savings platform that lets you put money aside for future plans.
You can create as many savings plans as you want.
That’s how I created a birthday savings plan almost 7 months ahead.
Because it’s a mini app, saving became easy and consistent.
Anytime I earned from @baseapp.base.eth , I tucked some funds straight into that plan.
And to avoid “emergency” withdrawals, I set a 30% penalty fee.
Yes. Brutal mindset 🤣
The savings unlocked a day before my birthday and I went shopping like a baby girl deep in her soft life era 🥰
No stress. No guilt. Just enjoyment.
