The performance of being “fine”. She puts on her makeup, fixes her face and walks into the world smiling while her heart is literally on fire, pierced and surrounded by destruction. See how every single detail maps directly onto that lived experience: The Central Pink Heart which is Her True Self. • The pink heart with a feminine face is the woman herself, her emotional core, her vulnerability and her capacity to love. • The big eyes with green eyelashes and the green nose ring are the “makeup”. She has deliberately made herself look pretty, put-together and even a little stylish. The green accents are soft and deliberate which is the exact kind of effort someone makes when they’re trying to look “normal” and approachable even though they’re dying inside.
