Just spent 5m finally understanding what git worktrees are, so simple, I’ve wanted this for a while. I used to run a hardcore vim and tmux setup, this brings me back. Sorta related, did you see dhh’s archlinux setup? Nice window manager, almost nerdsniped my whole weekend. https://omarchy.org/

Received a wonderful surprise from my friend Yuya in Japan who started Koss Coffee last year. Will be tasting thru his lineup.

Claude code is a better agent. It completes correctly at a higher rate. cli easy to integrate into any automated workflow.

it’s fast, keyboard shortcuts and the github and slack integration are seamless. everything else I’ve tried feels bloated feature and speed-wise, at least for devs.

I haven't stopped thinking about this podcast, and my relationship to my phone and other devices. I've been consciously working to look up from my phone more, especially around other humans. I'm grateful to have grown up in schools without devices and social media. https://youtu.be/QMjIbkqCzr0?si=1oe4GhB2Iei-PI8-

consecutively? I’d say 30 or so. Injured now but used to do ladders of 20>15>10>5 with 1m breaks in between. 73kg. I’ve found you can improve pretty quick if you do it routinely.

You need momentum more than perfection. Open a blank doc. Hit record. Ship something broken. Then fix it in public. Repeat.

everytime I said “gm” in real life, of which were few just to try it on, was regrettable. I’m sorry I tried. I’m sorry others thought it was working and I’m sorry I lacked the core to resist joining what was obviously never going to work.

there’s this man camp ad on instagram with fast cut scenes in high contrast, they show buff dudes arriving at a high end lodge surrounded by wilderness, they turn their phones in, eat healthy, get shredded, drink matcha and sell b2b saas together. i try to laugh it off but it deep down, damn, i want to go that camp.

mid life crisis totally underrated and misbranded imo. it’s a great evolutionary invention and opportunity to sanity check yourself. (disclosure: just guessing)
