Texas is suing five major TV makers.
They're accused of secretly recording what people watch at home.
Attorney General Ken Paxton filed lawsuits against Sony, Samsung, LG, Hisense, and TCL.
He claims their TVs use a "mass surveillance system."
This system employs Automatic Content Recognition technology.
