A team of quantum physicists says they've removed censorship from the AI model DeepSeek R1.
Their version is called DeepSeek R1 Slim.
It was made by a Spanish company using quantum-inspired AI.
The new model is also significantly smaller than the original.
This creates a more open version of the powerful reasoning tool.
