A few weeks ago, I proposed an alternative unit of account for the Bitcoin economy, which could provide native price stability without requiring trusted third parties or changes to the Bitcoin protocol. The Internet would benefit from a native monetary system that has price stability, and I think Bitcoin is the natural store of value for the Internet. The problem is that Bitcoin’s fixed supply makes BTC a poor unit of account. Here is my proposed solution: https://stacker.news/items/334513
