**Art has never been the ultimate safe-haven asset; it is merely the ultimate “asset with a story.”** In times of peace, its story is one of taste and wealth. In times of war and sanctions, that story can very easily turn into seizure, scandal, and confiscation.

"David" (in Italian: David) is a masterpiece by Michelangelo from the Renaissance era, carved from 1501 to 1504. The statue is a standing male nude made of white marble, standing at 5.17 meters (17.0 feet) tall and weighing approximately 6 tons. It is one of the most popular themes in Florentine art. It is used to represent the biblical Jewish hero King David. The original is currently placed in the Accademia Gallery in Florence, Italy, and attracts about 1.2 million visitors every year. Due to the nature of the figure it represents, this statue quickly became a symbol of defending citizens' freedom. The Florentine Republic was an independent city-state, threatened on all sides by more powerful hostile countries and the hegemony of the Medici family. David's eyes have a warning gaze, looking at Rome where the Medici family lived.

In the long river of Romantic art, there is such a delightful work - the oil painting "Adeline in the Water" (also known as "The Water Nymph"), which is inspired by the Romantic art style of 19th-century France and deeply influenced by the renowned painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau. This painting showcases the perfect blend of purity and romance.
