i have been influenced - @nicolaus i am already halfway thru and this book is worth its weight in gold. it not only aims to set some excellent industry standards, it is informed by some of my absolute design hero's weighing in on everything from their workflows to their tool use.

feeding documentation for an app to claude/chatgpt, using an mcp to help you get started, and then slowly choosing where you want to manually do things and where you still need the robots to help is a game changing flow for me when it comes to learning and mastering new tools.

following my newest obsession is plugging claude into everything, i recently tried connecting a second obsidian vault using mcp tools plugin + local REST api. but claude couldn't figure out how to connect to both simultaneously. where we landed: 2 versions of the claude_desktop_config.json (one for each vault's mcp server) and i manually update that file when i want to connect into one vs the other. works great, but curious - is there a better solution out there? this is like... week 2 of me vibe coding so im just kind of figuring it out in real time ⊂(◉‿◉)つ

i have this annoying habbit where i feel like i cant just "vibe-design", i need to like, map out what i'm doing, know what my parameters are... and i'm trying to be better about just getting into freeform vibe state a little quicker for fun, weekend-sized exercises. does this make any sense? and do you have any thoughts/advice?

paraphrasing but i swear this was my interaction today me: "hey claude can you find all the docs in obsidian called 'prompts aka spells' and help me make new spell to excavate a memory?" claude: "i am getting a connection error but let's make a spell!" me: "oh, dang. we need to fix the error first" *claude and i troubleshoot* claude: "hmm... error is persisting. what if we.... didn't fix it, and just made spells instead 👉👈

couldn't agree more 💚 i think the real signal here is that the site attracts a lot of futurists, dreamers, and builders who are excited to tinker with ideas together. giving them the tools they need to idea garden together would be so powerful and interesting.
