1/X Non-verbal forms of therapy are some of my favorites. Sometimes, speech is limited-our brain or body can only handle so much when it comes to processing traumatic experiences. With known traumatic memories, the brain often attaches specific feelings or reactions that it has learned to associate with those events. But… what if that’s not the full story? Non-verbal expression offers a different lens-a way to explore and rediscover parts of your life from a new angle. It allows you to express what words can’t reach. One of my drawings is called “The Path.” Feel free to interpret what you see. /psychology
