Also why is /warpcast not /farcaster yet 😅.

Biggest UX issue with the Warpcast rename for the next few days will be I’ll keep typing “warp” in the app search bar and wondering why nothing shows up.

We're considering ending support for v1 Frames in 3 months. 

Why? 
- It has little usage; most devs moved to miniapps 
- It simplifies the protocol for client builders + new devs. 
- It simplifies the UX for users. Only one type of "app" in the feed. 

Over 90% of devs we polled support this decision.

A bit disappointed, though this makes sense. I always saw frames as interactive link previews. Still think they were better UX for some niche actions, like 1-click mints or checking scores based on your ID. Kinda felt like better in-feed UX than mini apps.
Kudos to the team for keeping on innovating!

Base Colors

When we launched Base Colors, I thought, if we did it right, it could be something that would grow with me over time. I figured, if I had this NFT project attached to me, the more I built my brand, the more successful it might become, simply as a product of my personal growth.

We'll see if and how that plays out in the long run, but one positive early sign came yesterday as I really didn't do much of anything for Base Colors but 50 colors were minted on the same day that I got a bunch of new followers and attention on my new QR project.

I hope that's not an outlier and that this continues because then, in addition to doing things to support and improve Base Colors however and whenever I see fit, I can continue to grow it simply by growing myself.

16,777,216 is a lot of colors, so it's going to take a long time and lot of growth, but you never know, it might just mint out.

There is, of course, a shortcut by which we could airdrop some percentage of the colors proportionally. But for now, no shortcuts.
