The ambassadors of EU member states have agreed on the 18th package of sanctions against Russia, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced on July 18, calling it “one of the toughest to date.” The new sanctions include:
	-Blacklisting an additional 105 ships of the “shadow fleet”;
	-Restricting Russian banks’ access to financing;
	-Banning the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
	-Lowering the oil price cap;
	-Increasing pressure on Chinese banks that help Russia circumvent sanctions;
	-Blocking the export of technologies used in drones;
	-Sanctions against Rosneft’s largest oil refinery in India.
